At Refugee Canyon Veterinary Services – Pataskala, we provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats of all sizes and coat types.

Our dedicated groomer, Jodi, offers skilled and compassionate care tailored to your pet’s needs. She’s known for her gentle touch and attention to detail, and her schedule fills up quickly — so be sure to call well in advance to reserve your pet’s spot.

No walk-ins, please. All grooming visits must be scheduled ahead of time to ensure availability.

What’s Included in a Grooming Appointment?

We provide a wide range of grooming options, including:

  • Bath and brush-outs
  • Full-body cuts and breed-specific styles
  • Sanitary trims and paw pad trimming
  • Toe nail trims for dogs and cats
  • De-matting and shave-downs for severe tangles
  • Puppy cuts and gentle first-time grooms
  • Ear cleaning and light hygiene services

Appointments are available Monday through Friday with drop-off from 8:00–8:30 AM and pick-up between 4:00–7:00 PM. We’ll keep your pet comfortable, calm, and clean throughout the day.

Pet Grooming Safety & Vaccine Requirements

To keep all pets safe, we require proof of current vaccinations for all grooming appointments. These must be submitted before your pet’s arrival.

Dogs must be current on:
DA2PP, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Rabies (puppies must have received their first 2 DA2PP boosters)

Cats must be current on:
FVRCP and Rabies

If your pet is due for vaccines, ask when scheduling. Depending on availability, we may be able to update them during your grooming appointment with a veterinarian.

Dog Grooming While Boarding

Did you know your pet can also be groomed while staying with us? If your dog or cat is scheduled for boarding, just let us know you’d like to add grooming services — we’ll coordinate the timing so they return home fresh and clean.

Please note: Sedated grooming is not available at the Pataskala location, but may be available at our Hebron clinic for pets with anxiety or special needs.
